
Our Story……
Flame Cave Pizza Co. Was established in 2020 Originally by Pete and Lisa Beigan who ran a successful local restaurant, during lockdown it was apparent a plan B would be required, so Flame Cave Pizza Co. was launched to run alongside their existing restaurant business.
Flame Cave started trading as a sideline to the restaurant business and soon became a successful name of its own, bookings rolled in, we needed more hands and a new business partner. Along came Laurie Spencer, a friend of the Beigan family and butchery supplier to the restaurant. Laurie believes in the concept of supporting local businesses and using ingredients of a high quality that are sourced locally. It also became clear that he has amazing pizza making skills to compliment the team.
Flame Cave Pizza Co. very quickly flourished as a successful business, Pete, Laurie and Lisa made the brave decision to put their ‘bricks and mortar’ businesses behind them and concentrate on Pizza making full-time.
The team now have three separate set-ups, two gazebo style with wood fired trailers and one converted horsebox set-up with the wood fired oven on board. This allowed the team lots of flexibility and efficiency.
